Ingredients

  • 120 gms Horlicks original
  • 60 gms Butter
  • 10 gms Powdered sugar
  • 40 gms Refined flour
  • 300 gms Pears / Apple
  • 5 gms Butter
  • 5 gms Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 20 gms Icing sugar

Method

  1. For crumble, cream butter and sugar, add Horlicks and refined flour. Mix lightly and cool for 20 min.

  2. Wash and peel the pears/ apples. Cut into big dices.

  3. Melt butter in a pan, add pears/ apple and sugar. Cook for 5 min.

  4. Add cinnamon powder.

  5. Arrange pears/ apple in a greased pie dish. Cover with crumble and bake at 210 C for 25 to 30 min

  6. Sprinkle Icing sugar and serve warm with sauce of your choice.
